In this new position you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Veho’s infrastructure architecture, with a primary focus on connectivity services. This includes the corporate network and associated data communication solutions. The role also encompasses responsibilities as the Solution Manager for Connectivity Services, ensuring the delivery of a reliable, secure, and efficient network infrastructure that aligns with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include the conceptual planning and architectural design of ICT infrastructure components, assets, and data to support service development and operational needs across business units. The Infrastructure Architect will also be accountable for documenting architectural standards, processes, and business concepts within relevant initiatives and solutions, thereby enhancing the quality and consistency of infrastructure planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ICT infrastructure architecture that align with organizational goals and technical requirements.
- Oversee the operation, management, and maintenance of the corporate network and data communication systems.
- Serve as the Solution Manager for Connectivity Services, ensuring high availability, cost-effective budgeting, contract management, and optimal performance of network services and associated support providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate and enhance infrastructure services across the organization.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to strengthen network security and compliance.
- Monitor network performance, proactively identify issues, and implement timely resolutions.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the infrastructure remains modern, scalable, and competitive.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal IT teams and key stakeholders.
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior-level role such as Senior Expert, Advisor, or Solution Architect within the ICT infrastructure domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of ICT infrastructure services, including end-user computing, data center technologies, cloud platforms, and collaboration solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of network technologies, architectural principles, and implementation best practices.
- Familiarity with information security technologies and foundational security concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to complex challenges.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within international and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in IT management, including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial monitoring related to infrastructure services.
You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies. You have a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and demonstrate leadership by taking ownership of platforms and driving development initiatives. Your holistic and analytical mindset helps you navigate complex systems, while your process-oriented approach and strong time management ensure focus and consistency in delivery.
